- Separation of combined sanitary and storm sewers to achieve the following:
- Elimination of most combined sewage overflows into the Ottawa River during wet weather events
- Sanitary sewers with greater capacity that are separate from sewers carrying storm water
- A cleaner and healthier Ottawa River for future generations to enjoy and protect

- Major trench excavations for open-cut sewers
- Berdan between Martha Ave. and Jackman
- Sylvania between Lewis Ave. and Jackman
- Shaft construction for tunneled sewers
- Overland between Sylvania and Eleanor Ave.
- Dryden between Bennett and Lewis
- Major trench excavations for open-cut sewers
