Tech Data

Combined sewer overflows (CSOs) occur when storm water mixed with sewage overflows into the Maumee River, Ottawa River and Swan Creek. When the Toledo Waterways Initiative is complete, the combined sewer overflow (CSO) volume will be reduced by roughly 77 percent. This section includes a map showing the location of the CSO outfalls and monthly charts going back to July 2004 listing the dates of CSO overflows, their location and their duration. You may click on the CSO number below, or a CSO dot on the map, to see a more detailed locator map.
