W-2: Ash Street SSES Sewer Separation Map

Description:
- Separation of sewers in the Ash Street combined area leading to removal of all storm water flow to the Westside Interceptor Sewer from this area. The Ash Street area is a relatively small tributary area. During construction of I-280, the upstream portion of the area was re-routed directly to the Westside Interceptor Sewer.
- Assures all private property is served by properly separated systems, includes necessary work to remove cross connections, and ensure private property connections appropriately connect to future sanitary and storm sewers
- Be sure all sanitary sewers have adequate capacity for peak sanitary flows
- Protect storm water quality consistent with the City’s storm water management plan
