W-6: Maumee Avenue Storage Basin

Location: Lotus Avenue and the railroad tracks on the east and south, Orchard Street on the north and Congress Street on the west
Description:
- Construct a CSO storage basin on city-owned property located along the Maumee River, near the terminus of Maumee Avenue. Favorable hydraulic conditions exist in the inhabited areas north of the river to transport flow to the basin
- Construct conveyance piping to the underground basin and from the basin to an outlet sewer for dewatering. The basin would be gravity flow for influent and overflow with a pump station for dewatering
